Executive Functioning Skills
BriteMinds instructors teach every student’s organizational and time management skills as the Executive Functioning program is integrated into every student’s learning plan. From cleaning the backpack, filing papers, to reviewing homework assignments and upcoming test dates, BriteMinds will get the work done so students have time for family and socializing with friends! Most students are organized and equipped with proper supplies in September, but by October, challenges may arise, and some students may avoid maintaining an organized backpack or study space by November. BriteMinds is all about helping families prevent a chaotic atmosphere to emerge, as it is hard to pay attention and stay creative in chaos. Typically, papers get misplaced, trash accumulates in backpacks, leading students to forget what assignments are due and what the due date is. We wish all students a strong and successful start of the new school year!
